Hello All!
Welcome to yet another blog from me. This one is a bit different though. I will be using it to chronicle the planning and execution of my trip to Philadelphia for the National Association of Black Journalists Convention. I am very excited about this trip and I can't wait to share my journey with you. This trip means a lot for me. It will be my first trip outside of the South and without my family. It will also be my first time fellowshipping and networking with such a large number of journalists. I consider this trip an investment in my career and my life.
With every investment, there is a cost. Although I am saving money for this trip, I think I might need a little help. I have started my own small line of t-shirts to help with the costs for the trip so I won't have to deplete my saving to pay for it. I would appreciate it if you would check it out and buy one (or two or a few! lol). All of the proceeds will go to the trip.
